As far as I know, you can't dispute credit inquiries on your reports. If you want fewer companies to check your credit history, call 1-888-567-8688 or visit You'll stop getting all but a few unsolicited credit card offers, and you'll see fewer inquiries on your credit reports. The other way to reduce the number of inquiries on your reports is to limit how often you apply for credit. Purchase a book called "Back Off". It's written by Benjamin Dover and he is a radio personality with ton's of experience in how to utilize the Fair Credit Reporting Act to your advantage. As well there is the Fair Debt Collection Act which he puts in laymans' terms. Yeah, his name sounds funny but this guy is for real. My wife and I utilized his methods back when we were rebuilding our credit. Good Luck!!
