I recently applied for a new credit card, and I was just curious if anyone knows how many points that will drop my credit score. Ya know, just cause AMEX had to check my score.
2-5 points for a direct inquire but it will recover in 30 days
If it was a hard inquiry, which it most likely is, you'll probably lose anywhere from 1 - 5 points.
