I have a bachelors degree of Business Administration in Finance, and I am thinking of postgraduate studies. I am interested in the field of Financial Intelligence. What masters degree program will help me get in to such field? Also what school offers such programs? Thank you! Financial Intelligence job in this case for example: "The Financial Intelligence Analyst (FIA) serves in the Financial Intelligence Unit by monitoring transaction activity and evaluating cases to identify and report unusual and suspicious conditions potentially indicative of money laundering, terrorist financing, or other illegal or improper activity."
I doubt that an MBA or a MS in Finance would help you much in this field. My guess is that you have to know something about finance, something about accounting and a lot about trading systems and trading mechanisms. An interdisciplinary degree -- or even a law degree may be the way to go. To be honest, it sounds incredibly dull to me.
I don't agree that this field is boring, but an MS in Finance and possibly some interdisciplinary program might be the way to go. Since the FBI and the SEC hire many of these people (also possibly the GAO in Washington), I would look for the background of people who are employed there--even check the job openings. OPM for the feds would also be a source (Office of Personnel Management).
