The news of financial crisis has erupted from nowhere in the past few months. I would like to know the source of the whole mismanagement. What were the analysts doing? Was/Is it a calculated move to punish the weak economies like the developing countries? Enlighten me pliz!
A government wants to look as though things are getting better. It borrows money to finance its investment it gets somebody to build a hospital and buys its services through a sort of long term mortgage. Somebody has to pay one day. For a long time the government keeps paying interest on the loan but little or non of the capital. It gets deeper and deeper into debt - or to be more precise its citizens do. I call this the 'Credit Card Economy'. The Governments have 'maxed out' their credit and we are all deep in poo poo! RoyS
