He would still need Senate approval for any treaty but he could also have the EPA declare carbon a pollutant if decides to do it dirty, will Obama try? Nov. 26 (Bloomberg) -- President Barack Obama will travel to Copenhagen for climate-change talks, where he’ll offer to cut U.S. emissions about 17 percent by 2020 in an effort to help break a deadlock between rich and poor nations. Obama will visit the Danish capital on Dec. 9 during negotiations on a global climate treaty. The U.S. will propose cutting its emissions “in the range of 17 percent” from 2005 levels by 2020, Carol Browner, Obama’s top adviser on energy and the environment, told reporters yesterday. It will be the first time the U.S. has offered such a target. U.S. legislation backed by Obama to cut greenhouse gases and establish a market for the trading of pollution allowances passed the House in June and then stalled in the Senate. Administration officials said they aren’t going to Denmark empty-handed and Obama’s attendance will send a strong signal. “The president going to Copenhagen will give positive momentum to the negotiations,” Michael Froman, Obama’s deputy national security adviser for international economics, told reporters yesterday. “We think it will enhance the prospects for success.” Negotiations for a new global climate treaty have been stymied as industrialized nations and developing countries disagreed on issues such as emissions-reduction targets and how much financial help rich nations should provide to poor ones. http://www.bloomberg.com/apps/news?pid=20601070&sid=aqXeQfPvRUQY Sky-- Did you even read the bit of article I posted?
Since you have no physical proof to back up your allegations, I'd say, "No."
Why must you word it as ,"stunt our economy". If we want to move forward with a greener world, we have to cut back like every other country has. It also forces us to develop newer energies quicker, and ultimately improve our economy in the long run.
you cant say what he do nobody know he could die ant anytime so nobody can really tell
